My coworker who I interact with for work purposes and who tries to get my attention outside the office did something quite strange.
There was a decoration competition going on and my guy friend and I went to check it out.
Now my guy friend is a really handsome person who's engaged recently, but no one knows about this. We are work friends and don't really interact much out of work.
This coworker sees me and him walk in side by and side. As we stand in one place and see around us, he walks really close to me even though there's space plenty in the corridor. Three people could stand side by side there. He sort of separates me from my guy friend by walking so close and he doesn't even go anywhere, he just returns the same way after we've moved on to different exhibits.
What is this dude's problem? I barely talk to him, even though our parents are acquaintances.

You clearly can't tell why. Because it's disruptive, to have someone display unpredictable behaviour and not know why. You have nothing useful to contribute. You want to know why he went back the same way he came? That was probably the quickest route. Maybe wanted to check out some of the decorations
No no, that's not what I wanted to know. He sort of brushed past me a little too closely and also my guy friend had to move away from me to give him space to pass by.
So for him to walk as if he was in a hurry, to go outside and come back the same way and basically walk around the huge room we were in shooting glances at me and my friend.
He actually works in that room so the decorations were up for a long while, so he wasn't seeing them for the first time. He was being weird about me hanging out with my friend.
