Why is he talking to all my friends and ignoring me?

This guy I used to talk to, we were really into eachother at one point and then we had a misunderstanding, no one did anything wrong but we stopped talking. It was a miscommunication. He’s been talking to my guy and girl friends though and he doesn’t even know them/never met them, and reaching out to them. We don’t run in the same circles either so why is he trying to talk to them specifically? He even talks to my best friend, but when we run into eachother he acts like I don’t exist but talks to everyone else. I don’t get it.

We were supposed to meet up, and he was supposed to let me know what was happening but he never did. I think he was waiting for me to text first but I was waiting for him. So it was a misunderstanding

He doesn’t even know my friends, he just followed them on instagram but has never even met them
