Should a guy tell a girl how long she should keep her hair? Is this guy been getting too dominant?

I have been hanging out with this guy in my office. We are yet to kiss, let alone sleep.
I had long hair. One day I thought of having a short haircut. When this guy saw me, his mood went sour. He asked me why I chose to get my hair short. I think he is trying to dominate me.
Should I break up? He may like me with long hair, but only I can decide how I keep my hair.
Today he is trying to change me. What might happen if we actually live together? Will he force me to do things I don't like?

If he likes you hair it is natural to get upset but if he says you should not get your hair cut then that is dictating what you should do and he might be a domineering man.

I suggest you two talk it out why he is upset that you cut your hair maybe he has some kind of belief or something regarding it.

This has nothing to do with dominating. It literally means he only cares about your physical appearance. If he liked more than that, you cutting your hair shorter would not have been an issue.

Guys should not tell you what to do or anything they should ask if you should keep it long or keep it short but it is totally up to the woman to decide what she really wants to do

I don't think that there is necessarily anything wrong with it. Just like you may tell him that he looks better with or without a beard. Sounds like he was just expressing his opinion.
