What Guys Said
best compliments I have ever gotten
"hey remember how i said i don't suck dick... then i sucked your dick? you have a really nice dick"
or this one "i like girls, you're only getting this cuz of your dick
I have a nice penis
You are the best thing that has ever happened to me.
That’s a huuuuge compliment!
That's what my ex wife said to me just before we got married.
Aw that’s so sweet 🥺
Girls who have seen my face don't compliment me and those that haven't seen my face always say what they think I want to hear but if they saw my face, they wouldn't try to compliment me.
What do they say that they think you want to hear?
That I'm not ugly or the I'm probably really handsome. One girl I had a video chat with from a Facebook depression support group said she wanted to see my face because she said there was no way girls call me ugly all the time and that I'm probably really handsome so I accepted her video call and she gave a disgusted look and ghosted me and ever since I have refused to be in any photo or video call.
I’m sorry to hear that :( I understand not feeling confident in your looks but I bet you have other awesome qualities!
Most men get less than 10 in their lifetime, so any would feel pretty good.
"Damn, i missed you" is always nice from a woman you aren't dating and not even friends with.
This makes me super sad. I had no idea guys weren’t complimented at all? Like do guys in relationships never get complimented?
In relationships we get more and from our mother, otherwise not really
That sucks! People need to be nicer
It's okay, we are use to it
Give me consistent, loyal companionship. I don't really trust words, I trust time and action
But if you haven’t had the chance to get to that point yet, surely compliments are nice to hear?
Frankly I feel like most compliments in romantic relationships is the other person either exaggerating positive traits I have or projecting positive traits they wish I had onto me.
But if I get a feeling that the compliment is sincere then my favorites are kinda like..
"You're so handsome Jux, I like your thick eyebrows, hairy chest and blue eyes I can just get lost in. You give the best cuddles too."
"I feel so understood by you, you really get how I think."
"I won't let you face this alone, I'm here for you. I know you'd do the same for me."
"(Any sexual compliment that is realistic)"
Etc.
Don't get them often, although one lady when she got her car back from our shop said "thanks for not being creepy". Apparently she whent to another shop and got learned at by the mechanics. Not quite sure if it's a compliment but I'll take it.
It would be :
I am in LOVE with you ;)
You make my heart beat faster
I enjoy your presence and our conversations
How quickly would you want to hear those words?
maybe for me it would be within 3 months, hbu?
That’s a fair time frame!
thanks :) Thats just me...
But some guys are quick, some are lazy and may take a year too
That I'm good enough for them and they're choosing to be with me, instead of never being good enough.
Girls don't understand how little normal guys get compliments and then hold onto that one time for ever.
I’ve come to realise with this question that maybe I’m in a minority of complimenting guys :(
Lol. Women don't compliment guys. If I received one I would assume she's setting me up for something.
I compliment guys all the time and it doesn’t mean anything 🥺 even my guy friends and colleagues.
Good for you 🙂! But you are in the overwhelming minority then.
Clearly! That’s sad to hear. Sometimes it’s just nice to be nice
I agree. Unfortunately I think this is where we are as a society. I avoid complimenting women because everytime I do I get a suspicious "ok..." as a response. Because the assumption is you can't just give a compliment there's always got to be an ulterior motive. I don't blame their suspicion in me based on many guys actions. I'm just saying it's to bad this is where we're at as a society.
I’m sorry to hear that. It’s a shame that you can’t compliment someone without people feeling some kind of way. But yeah, it can be triggered by past experiences. I think sometimes you should be nice for the sake of seeing someone smile.
