Why do men always, whether directly or indirectly, tell women they’re only good for sex?

So, the “method” I’ve seen repeatedly suggested by men (whom supposedly hate games) for obtaining a relationship seems to be that the girl makes the guy wait for sex because once a girl “gives up” sex, there’s nothing else he would want from her.

Before some guy calls me a slut, I’m a virgin, so I’m not really angry that I couldn’t sleep around and be taken seriously. The only thing that really irks me about this is that men apparently need sex as something to look forward to in order to be with a girl. So, we’re basically always being told that we’re only good for sex, which makes us think something is wrong with us… and all of this simply because men themselves are degenerate, uncivilized creatures that want to sleep with as many women as possible.

Girls should really be taught to not seek relationships/love with a gender that is self-admittedly uninterested, instead of being falsely led to believe that it’s up to them and all they need to do is be this and that in order to make a man commit. Females are brainwashed from a young age to believe men are actually people they would even want to be with, when they are far from it.

Let's look at history, from WWII all the way back to the beginning of recorded human history (8-10,000 years). Men and women each had a role to play, and everyone knew their job. Men's job was to protect, provide for, and lead, and women's job was to have children, raise the children, and keep the home/homestead. These roles overwhelmingly matched up with our instincts and our physical capabilities, and in a world that wasn't "civilized", it was almost impossible to survive on your own.

What changed? Well, it was several things - technology, advanced medicine, the BC pill - but by far, the biggest change was the rise of Radical Feminism (which wasn't really Feminism at all - it was Marxism wearing the cloak of Feminism). The goal of Radical Feminism - and they've said this on many occasions in their own words - was to eradicate marriage and male-female relationships - under the premise that marriage was bad for women. And to further those goals, they convinced women to take on the male role and to abandon feminine pursuits and values. Remember: Feminism (i. e., being pro-woman) was not really their goal - transforming the West and preparing it for Marxism was the goal. Thus, the changes they pushed for weren't really in the best interests of women, and they were fully aware of that, but that didn't matter. As long as they could use Feminism as the excuse, they knew that women would buy into it. And they did.

RadFems taught women to withhold or deny men ALL traditional benefits and expectations that marriage brought with it. Women shouldn't choose babies instead of careers. Women shouldn't have to care for the home. Women shouldn't have to cook or make him a sandwich. Etc. And men, trying to maintain their families and under political pressure, eventually caved and accepted this (a huge mistake, and in my opinion men's fault as much or more than women's). RadFems wanted women to deny men sex as well - and a few did. But there was one thing the RadFems couldn't change: that women craved male attention, and that men craved sex. The truth was, they couldn't stop women from giving men sex in order to get attention and "support" (money, meals, favors, gifts, etc.), because women just wouldn't play along. So, they went the other way, and encouraged "free love" and for women to "take control of their sexuality" and feel free to sleep around. Most women did just that.

What lesson did this teach men? Men used to value women as wives and mothers and teachers and home-makers and for taking care of and providing for him him as he took care of and provided for her. Now, though, women are refusing to provide any of this - though they still expect all of the traditional benefits of marriage for themselves, because reasons. And THAT taught men that women no longer have any value as wives or mothers or long-term relationship partners - that they wouldn't look out for us when we were about to do something stupid, or help us when we were weak. Men were to be used for their homes, cars, money, and labor, and should expect little or nothing in return. Of course, men have started rejecting that in droves, choosing to remain single rather than prepare to be husbands and fathers and support families - because what's the point? (Remember: this is exactly the outcome that the Marxists were looking for.)

Thing is... women STILL want male attention, and men still want sex. So with women unwilling to make marriage valuable to men, there was only one thing left that women had that men wanted - and most women wanted male attention enough that they were willing to make that trade: sex for attention (and dates/meals/gifts/favors). Men found this to be a relatively reasonable trade, so they accepted this.

But, make no mistake: it was WOMEN who overwhelmingly pushed the RadFem agenda on men, and who devalued marriage for men - and in doing so, taught men that women have but one thing left to offer men that men value: sex.

That's WHY this happens, but if you're looking to place blame, place it where it belongs: on the RadFems (who, again, are really just Marxists who are trying to lay the ground for a Marxist takeover), and all the women who supported them in the misguided belief that the changes they were pushing would be good for women. It should be noted that studies have shown that women have never been less happy than they are today, and the more power and influence that Feminism had, the less happy women have been. Of course, no one cares if men are happy - they don't even bother to ask.

More equality isn't making women happy, it's making them stressed and frustrated. Women now have to take on all of the stress and responsibility that men have always had, and they're finding that it isn't all that great. Worse, women are either waiting into their 30s to start a family, which puts tremendous pressure due to fertility limitations, or are missing out on children entirely. As they get older, and realize what this means for them in old age (no one to care for or protect them when they are unable to do so for themselves), that's a terrifying thought that only increases their stress.

Anyway, Feminism may have leveled the career playing field, but it has not delivered the happiness and satisfaction that was implied to come along with that. Women were encouraged - often outright manipulated - into making choices that go against their own best interests and long-term happiness, and they cheered themselves on for doing it. Men could see that there would be a price to be paid, and many tried to warn women of this, but women told men to shut up. Well, this is the result.

Ironically, while men are arguably less happy too, our lives have been made easier. We no longer have the pressure to sacrifice everything for 40+ years to support a family - a family isn't even an option for most of us. Women took that option away by choosing careers over families. And so it goes.

There are two primary things going on here.

First, it's a simple fact that today's women really DO offer men less in relationships than their counterparts from decades gone by. Marriage today means something very different to a man than it did his father. Despite what women claim, most men are still expected to be the primary breadwinner in a relationship, but they are also expected to do all the other things women traditionally did in a marriage. Today's men don't come home after a long and stressful day's work to a home cooked meal in a clean and organized home where the laundry is already done and the kids have finished their homework. They come home to a wife who is also stressed from a day at work, and chances are they will have to stop on the way home to pick up the dry cleaning, buy food at the store, or just pick up takeout for dinner. He'll spend the evening doing dishes and house chores rather than relaxing with his family and doing fun activities with the kids.

In addition to marriage being less beneficial to men, it is also more risky and costly. Half of marriages end in divorce, and the vast majority of those are filed by women. The court system is strongly biased against men so they typically get screwed in divorce court and lose out in child custody disputes, but still of course have to pay child support (and alimony) despite not getting to be with his kids as often as their mother. Today, children for men are responsibilities with few rights.

And unlike in the past, a man doesn't need to be married to enjoy regular sex with women. The so called sexual revolution has led to the normalization of casual sex without the need for a committed relationship or marriage.

The second primary reason why men tell women they are only good for sex is just the anger, resentment and cynicism today's men have toward women because men themselves have been told by women, and especially feminists, for decades that they are unnecessary and even useless (as you yourself have done here in your question, by the way). Women need a man like a fish needs a bicycle, right? Fathers are unnecessary. The nuclear family must be abolished. Masculinity is toxic. Men are rapists. Women and girls are better than men and boys. Men are degenerate, uncivilized creatures. Men are not actually people.

Today's men grew up being bombarded with these messages from the time they were small boys. And they are not just the messages from butthurt girls like you on the internet; they are coming from mainstream feminism, the movement that is supposed to be fighting for equality but instead is driving a wedge between the sexes and spreading hatred toward half of the population. Those messages are also coming from the mainstream media and the public school system.

Anyone who denies there is a gender war going on in the West today is blind. Is it enough to outweigh all the negative stuff? The answer to that question is increasingly no.

This may sound harsh but it is the reality of gender relations the West today. Can all the damage be repaired? I don't know, but it is certainly fair to say that the ball is in women's court.

I'm not surprised you don't agree, and that's the source of the underlying problem. Until women recognize what they have done and acknowledge the damage it has caused, nothing is going to get better. This is a problem largely of your own making. Women have made their bed and now are finding they don't like lying in it.

Before I got experience on the dating scene, I too thought this way. Women tell other women to hold out on sex or they'll get discarded immediately, and you grow up afraid of guys' seemingly insatiable sexual tendencies. After dating and getting a few notches on my belt, I realized guys actually do want love (despite hiding it to preserve their masculinity) and are pretty great. Their sex drive is almost comical and over time becomes endearing.

First, every guy is different. I agree that some truly are misogynists and think women's only function is for procreation. But, those guys are erraneous and easily detected and ignored.

When it comes to straight guys who see women healthily, they all have different perspectives on sex and dating. They definitely don't want women JUST for sex- they just seem like that in public because it's a socially acceptable and masculine front for them to put up for everyone but the woman they're with. It takes getting to know a guy romantically to see that he's vulnerable, tender, silly, good-hearted, egalitarian, etc. His mannerisms change, his voice changes, he does things for you, and sometimes he even gets excited about something completely non-sexual and a little boy comes out.

Most men are actually quite civilized. They like to do their jobs, communicate, and they like order.

Sex isn't just sex for men like it is for women. It performs a variety of functions. For them, at the least, it validates their masculinity and functions as a sort of physical and mental "release". Meaningful or exciting sex is even more satiating for them because men like to provide, and giving themselves to their lover (or the woman they've just started dating) is an act of affection for them that makes them feel warm inside, accepted, masculine, and loved.

For us, sex is simple, and differing degrees of shameful depending on the woman. If it's with someone we like, it feels good. We try not to fuck guys who would be terrible fathers just in case our birth control method falters. No wonder there's so much misunderstanding.

Last, one surprising thing about men is they can get carried away with a connection. If they connect with a woman really well and then quickly have explosive sex, they're going to be addicted and come back again and again. It can absolutely be the beginning of love. "Pump and dump" is more about lack of connection than it is speed into sex.

It's not that once a girl gives up sex, there’s nothing else he would want from her. That's not the reason girls who have sex early are less valuable. It's because of what it says about her priorities, character and self-image. Promiscuous women are sending the message that they don't respect themselves and seek attention from men using their sexuality. If it were about giving guys "the holy grail", why would they not want it again, and again? That's like saying once you've had caviar you never need to eat it again. It makes no sense. What's important in all of this is a man's perception of a woman. A lot of men put women into two categories... those they are interested in for casual sex (some women certainly see men this way as well, as you noted above) and those who they see as higher quality women who are worthy of pursuing as a girlfriend or wife. Men and women are inherently different when it comes to these things. Denying that, and the realities that come with it, is worse than pointless.
