Girls, Why would a guy break up with you via text and not want to see you at all if everything was going great?

He supposedly broke up cause he was gonna move and the more we spent together the harder it was gonna be for him. But why would he be such a coward as to not say so in person? Would seeing each other make it harder for him to stick to his decision? Or just a player?

Maybe he cannot handle seeing you hurt and that's why he did it the way he did. I think he could have genuine feelings for u.. a player wouldn't care about your feelings to begin with and they wouldn't try to break up with u the way he did, they would've either ghosted u or cheated on u and have u found out... basically in a number of excruciating and humiliating ways
