Because 90% of women aren't looking for casual sex, and at least 90% of men are open to it- what incentive is it to "just be honest?"
If you're strictly looking for casual sex as a man, and you know that if you tell them that most women won't go for it (even the ones who have been promiscuous), and a vast majority of the attractive women on Tinder are just looking for Clout (IG followers), you'll:
Go on "dating sites": Bumble, Hinge, etc.
Say they're looking for something serious (Lie)
The only a woman can avoid this is by requiring the guy to spend substantially more time/ money interacting with her than he would have to to get sex. If he's just looking for sex he'll ghost you.
The thing is, there are guys that are in it for the long run and don't just go sleeping around. Hell, I'm one of them, but we all know how that goes. Women hate on men that are "self-proclaimed good guys". And the cycle will always repeat. Women are always going to be attracted to the traits of the men that are looking for sex, and those men will continue to lie their way into getting sex.
Actually, most women aren’t looking for casual sex, especially not the hotter one. That’s why men lie. They barely get any recognition.

Because many guys don’t have the confidence to be that direct with women. They believe if the profile states ‘I just want to use you for sex and no relationship’ that most women wouldn’t choose to connect with them. So their strategy is to hint about being casual because they hope she sees the potential of a romantic relationship.
Does this make sense?
Because sex is sex. As long as we have access to more women, we have access to more sex, statistically. Where we meet these women does not change this. Both ways around you still need to act interesting, make them laugh, etc. It is all the same on our side.
most online dating platforms have been corrupted by hookup culture. which favors lust and short term relationships over love and long term relationships. both males and females do this in many parts of the world.
im not sure but i think u would get more women when u tell them they might be the 1 than basically saying "im gonna screw u after that we won't see again exept it was good then i might screw u again"
The same reason women are on them and casually giving away sex or I'm looking for the same things as the men are. Some things are just simple, you want something you go to where it is presented
Because the man doesn't always know what a connection with a woman will turn into. Also, women aren't usually receptive when guys are upfront about stuff like that.
