Guys: why would a guy be flirtatious with all women but be distant with me?

There is a guy that flirts with all the ladies at work, I’m not sure if he is being flirtatious or if it’s part of his charming personality. Anyway, this guy treats me very different from everyone else. He literally looks at me and turns away, avoids me, he is super serious all the time with me. When I greet him, he never responds, he just kinda nods and acts very indifferent. But then I’ve caught him staring at me many times, but when I wave, he turns away and pretends he wasn’t looking and so I’m left without a response. Why would a guy act this way?

Tough to say, only one thing I can say is at least this man respect you enough in the sense that he thinks you are not a woman whom he can flirt with. I mean he thinks you are a very sober, decent woman and so he does not do that with you.

With the rest of the girls, he is his normal self, with you, he likes you so is conscious of not pushing anyone at work, so is probably over compensating as he doesn't know how you feel about him and doesn't want to overstep.
