Guy in friends group avoids talking to me?

So I matched a guy on a dating app and we talked a bit. He proposed a drink, I would have loved to and before it happened, he ghosted me. A few weeks later I met him at a mutual friends party. Been seeing him with that friends group every now and than since. Initially I tried to be friendly and joke about the dating app thing and he somewhat responded joking about it too, but than he started avoiding me and now when I see him in the group he literally won’t say anything more than “hi” at the beginning. He sits and stands as far as possible from me and answers in a short and mostly rude way if I try to say anything to him.

Yeah but… that’s a long time ago and I signaled I wasn’t upset about it by joking about it. What instead I find very rude is that he won’t talk to me now…

Same as above: it was months and months ago and I made it clear I wasn’t upset (I told him I had giggled the whole night pretending it was the first time we met in front of our friends the first time we saw each other - was actually the first time we met in person). It is the way the thing has evolved which is not cool.
