Lol is this my girlfriend? We’ve been together for about 13 years. We’re not married either. To me things feel good as they are. No paper is going to make me love her more. To me I feel as though why fix what isn’t broke. Marriage seems to complicate things.
Maybe feels it's not necessary? It doesn't "prove" anything and if you get a divorce (realistically and statistically speaking, a very real possibility), it will literally ruin the rest of his life, and that's not an exaggeration, very literally. Ex wives can ever go after a guy's pension in retirement (how far is that?). It really is a wonder that ANY guy gets married ever honestly.
