He wants me to meet his friends, but I am terrified?

so i have been hooking up with this guy for a little bit, it is still pretty early into everything and thus far based off the type of hanging out we do I was convinced it was nothing more than just sex. He's never taken me on date or made an attempt to make feel as though whatever were doing is more than just sex.

We were supposed to hang out this weekend and suddenly he asks if friends can join its gonna be like a little dinner at his place. I told him it was totally alright with me and he made sure to double check if it was okay and then said he thought it would be fun for me to meet them.

I don't want to delude myself into thinking this means anymore than it is, just meeting his friends. But I would love to gain another male perspective on what this may mean good or bad and if anything how i should handle this night.
