So let’s say your girl is a big nerd and loves gaming, sci fi, fantasy, role playing, anime etc. Is this a turn on or off for you? From my experience most guys find my nerdiness cute and love when I play Mario kart with them but that’s my experience.

Yes, mostly because I am too. No one in my circles would believe it if you told them, they all think I'm great with the ladies & I can be on the surface but generally never let them too close. I like to read, watch documentaries, some cartoons, been known to get baked now & then, build computers, got a disc with every known game Atari - N64 on it & wireless ps4 controllers to paly them on. I also like working with mechanics & electronics. I still GM D&D second edition campaign once a month ish for friends & their kids. My nephews / nieces really enjoy them, even set it up with a projector for them & they had a blast playing games on it. I've tried to find a woman like this but they always seem to be unsure of what they want, insecure, shy & that's a turnoff if it persists. I'm not going to keep pursuing a girl that makes eye contact once, clams up & never again.

It's great when you own who you actually are, nerds and geeks to people that are nerds and geeks already can be great friends or horrible combatants.

For example if both of you are fiercely competitive, you might find you fight more than play together happily.

Two geeks that play together may seem like a great couple, but most like interests in other types of people, if one is a survivalist and the other a battlefield junkie. There is going to be a rough road.

Course if you both like sex, and having sex together and can apply that to while you're playing. There is no limits to what you can do together. Cooperatively or Competitively.

Guys love that I'm a nerd, and I love people who are nerds, too.

The big thing for me is nerdiness isn't my only feature and I don't want it to be the only feature in the people I date. It used to be, and I see after two exes it's a bad sign.

Bring me the gym nerds, the nerds who also program, the nerds who write, the nerds who rock climb, the nerds as nerdy about environmentalism as they are about Pokemon.

Personally, I'll always date nerds. We just share good things in common. I run DnD games, am working on launching a DnD side-business, and want to get into streaming - I need a nerd who can keep up, lol!

Nurdiness is a huge turn on even when you aren’t talking about games and shows or computers… like you could be a nerd about fitness and if you find a guy who is in to that he will worship the ground you walk.
