I have a best friend who is a man. I love him. Not ashamed to say it. Nothing sexual, nothing other than I'd die trying to help him and he me. We served in the military with each other, helped each other financially, he spoke at my retirement, I helped him through when his wife died, etc. Nothing wrong with two humans loving each other.
That seems to be pretty common among military, police, firefighters and EMTs. You depend upon each other so deeply that it’s often these manliest of men who have an immense capacity for non-romantic love. It’s inspiring and enviable.
I love my best friend like he's my brother. We've been friends for 30 years and he's one of only three men I'd trust with my life and the lives of my family.
This is filio/philio love. Brotherly. At its best it approaches agape love - self-sacrificing.
There's no Eros love there.
No as same-sex is wrong and abnormal. Couldn’t look in the mirror
You failed the assignment. Ell oh ell!
Haha! Well… i did clarify non-romantic love. While your response seems to intone just that. Is it wrong to love your father or your brother, just because you’re the savage sex?
I only love my mother.
You are short changing yourself.
Hell no.
