My boyfriend and I have not been intimate in almost a year. He rather do oral sex instead of sex sex. I’ve told him I want to have sex. He keeps saying he will have sex with me but never does. He always says the sex drains him and he needs to work. Blah blah. Yesterday he calls me and says I’m going to give you sex when I get home. I tell him no you’re not you always say that. He says I’m serious I miss you babe. Why does he keep promising sex but we never have it.

Stop giving him head lol he doesn’t understand your frustration because you relieve him all the time. To me after almost a year of no sex he can’t keep blaming it on being tired that’s just flat out disinterest, especially if he was able to do it before and nothing has changed about his job or lifestyle. I’m not a fan of withholding sexual things but if he’s ok not taking care of you all this time then stop taking care of him.

I have as of recently I told him I'm not giving him head anymore. He gets to relieve himself and I don't. I also stop asking for sex. So the fact that he brought it up is irritating me.

Honestly that’s so frustrating and disheartening, I’d consider breaking up if i were in your shoes. It’s not like it’s been a couple weeks or even months, but almost a year seems like there’s something else going on with him. You are human and want to feel desired by your partner. You don’t want to feel like you’re begging for it and I’m sure some times it’s even hurtful. If this is what you have to look forward to, it doesn’t sound great at all.
