Hahahaha! The world has changed. I would agree that a gentleman should never hit a lady. But the moment a woman becomes aggressive, she ceases to be a lady and a man bears no responsibility to remain a gentleman. If a woman attacks me or someone i care about, i will treat her exactly as i would treat a man who does the same. THAT is equality. Don’t you support equality?
I see them in two categories.
1) Men who are physically abusive - these men are cowards and I have zero respect for them.
2) Men who hit a woman back when she hits him first - these men I have great respect for, because they are not sheep who blindly follow the outdated "a man should never hit a woman" rule. They are honoring the responsibility they have to themselves and to other men to teach a woman the lesson that she cannot hide behind her gender and physically abuse a man with no consequences.
Society needs to change the expectation that men should never hit women, regardless of the circumstances, and the expectation many women still have that it's ok to hit a man and expect to not have him return fire. It is our responsibility as men to make those changes.

That’s just wrong to hit women or act like a fool ranting and raving. Class, respect, and composure are necessity in al relationship no matter the classification given to them.
Unless it's a situation where deadly force is needed... never.
Discrimination on the basis of sex is no less wrong when it benefits women.
