How come my crush looks down when he passed by me or looks at me and smiles?

He used to talk to me a lot but now I feel he’s more quieter around me, doesn’t say much to me compared to everyone else, and when I look at him now he doesn’t look much at me but when I say Hii to him in the hall he says Hii and smiles?
