He is just an acquaintance to me. Although cute, his behavior puts me off of him completely.
He is kind of nice sometimes, with intermittent moments of anger where he just snaps at me or yells at me. And it is so awkward for me because I don’t know what I did to him. He doesn’t yell at others like this. We are in the same program. I am friendly and polite with everyone, including him, and he acts like I am the most annoying and irritating person ever. For what? You don’t even know me. I don’t even talk that much. And the least you could do is remain polite. He often says condescending remarks to me or teases me (not in a cute way, in just a plain rude way). For example, one time I wore a designer jacket my grandmother got me when she went to Italy and he snickered and said “oh you think you’re better than us huh?” When did I say that? Like mind your business you jerk. He’s always staring at me with this hard look in his eyes. And when I stare back, he just keeps looking. Creeped out is an understatement. My impression of him is as*hole obviously, but it makes me extremely confused when everyone says he’s the kindest and most humble man they’ve ever met. Where? I generally avoid him but he comes up to me and awkwardly tries to make conversation while I scramble for polite ways to escape him. I don’t mind being friends with him, as long as he fixes how he speaks to me and learns to be respectful. Why are you respectful of everyone else but not me? I didn’t do anything to you. Why does he act so rude? He is a grown man. We are not children.
Please don’t say “just ignore him” because of course that’s what I’m going to do and have been doing, I just want a perspective on this weird situation I’ve never been in before.
