There’s this friend who’s admitted to have had feelings for me for the past year and a half. He dated other girls, but still felt something towards me. I did too at some point and when he admitted it to me, I was actually starting to see other people and get over my crush on him.
Because I am not sure of how I feel, I told him to go slow and he was okay with it. Most of our conversations about our feelings and such have been through texting and when we see each other, it’s mostly with other people around and they don’t know, so we don’t talk about it.
For the past few weeks, I have friends that have been saying to me that I should not date him and tried to show how toxic he actually is. Since I have idealized him for the majority of the time I have had a crush on him, I kind of refuse to see him in a bad light.
But he has been acting iffy with me, and not as bold as in his texts.. and when I try to get to know his intentions and what he feels, he just says that he has feelings for me but that’s very vague… anywho, I don’t know how to proceed.
