There’s this guy I like and I happen to see him at the same restaurant. He was with his friend and I was with mine. My friend and I sat somewhere and I noticed I have a clear view of them, the guy I like his back was facing to me while his friend was sitting across from him. Before they were about to leave, his friend tilt his head up to see where I was at and told the guy I like. His friend got up to leave, walking towards our direction but my crush stopped him and wanted to walk the other direction. He has shown sign of interest but I’m just confused as to why he tried to purposely avoid me? If he doesn’t think anything much of me then he would causally walk my direction but obviously there is? I’m not sure.

hmmm sounds likes he told his friends that he think you're hot or attractive, whatever word he used but he thinks you're attractive and they want him to up to you but he doesn't want to due to possibly being nervous. and so what theyre doing is trying to go up there for him and thats why he stopped them because he doesn't want to be embarrassed. alls you gotta do is just make the first move. nothing too crazy just next time you see him smile at him and say hello. it seems like its nothing but itll mean something i promise you. that is in the event that he does find you attractive. do it trust me itll make him happy. itll also give him more courage to go up to you. women can sometimes intimidate guys and make them nervouse about going up to them. Especially if there's a group of girls, its even harder
but again. as i said. this is all in the event that he likes you. the only other possibility i can't think of is if they think you're hella ugly and theyre making fun of him saying that he should go up to you. but i dont think thats it. im just trying to give you all possible scenarios here
because he doesn't like you and is angry at you. he found something out about you that he didn't like and now he's avoiding you
He might be nervous around you.
