Why am I still obsessed with a guy who has rejected me?

I was briefly friends w/a guy, I believe we both found eachother attractive. We know the same friend group. He was super confusing, he rejected my FB request yet followed me on Instagram and watched my stories. He said yes when I asked him if he wanted to join me for dinner, then he continued to Flirt w/intense eye contact. I was always the one for 3 mo tha always texting 1st, so I called him on it and walked away.

after reflection I wanted to hang out again, he wasn't having it. I've seen him since a few times with others a d he's kind and smiling. I even msgd him months after we stopped talking g why he was smiling and being nice when prior he was rude. He said I'm not gonna deny I know you, I don't mind talking to you and hanging out but that's as far as it should go.

Your still in love with the imaginary guy you created him to be in your head. He noticed that and rejected you.

Now your treating him more normal but he just wants to be friends.

I guess you like a challenge which makes it a bit more fun to give him a reason to like but be careful because obsession can be similar but less respectful so once u know that u respect him enough to take it slow you are good to go.
