Why do men only notice me when I have makeup on?

when I don’t wear makeup I get 0 looks 0 attention and when i do my makeup I get slight more. I like my face without makeup but now that I noticed men only speak to me with a full face I feel ugly. Does this mean i’m ugly without makeup?

I've heard men always prefer more natural girls, does that only apply to naturally stunning women?

Generally yes. I know thats not what you want to hear, but it's the reality.
Makeup is seen as a false advertizement to being naturally stunning, and in general, we look for a naturally stunning woman to marry, which is the primary reason that most men don't like when women wear makeup, its badically just another way to lie to us.

What is or isn't stunning is highly subjective though. So while some men may think you're ugly, others may think your hot. I say this because there are models I find attractive, and models that I think are ugly, but they are still popular.

The ones that are all pristine and shiny get more attention than your average road warrior.
With makeup, done correctly, not applied like spackle, makes you stand out more.
Same with me.
After getting our asses kicked at a job when we get back to the station I look like I was used hard and put away wet, yet I've been told that I clean up pretty well.
It's all in people's perception of what beauty is.

Don't change yourself because of a man's opinion. Don't think you're ugly just because you have no makeup on. If a guy doesn't find you attractive simply because you're not wearing makeup, then he's an idiot! If he truly likes you, he doesn't care about makeup.

Those who give you attention when you're wearing makeup are shallow. They're not seeing you for who you really are. They're not worth it. I guess you need to find men who appreciate you when you're showing your natural looks. Don't waste time with fools!

No, it doesn’t necessarily mean you are ugly. It means you could be just more average looking without it. Makeup enhances beauty. That’s what it’s made for that’s what it’s meant to do, so it makes your face more noticeable. Getting more attention while wearing makeup indicates you’re probably of average attractiveness, which is not bad.

Never go off of what a man says he “prefers” because that will just make you feel insecure. Just know you are not ugly and that is not the reason you’re overlooked with and without makeup.

Must be because they remember the circus clowns when they were younger and all the grease paint they used to wear to get laughs. Each clown actually had registered makeup so some other clown could not have the same makeup/look. I mean everyone likes clowns, right? And who would give them the time of day, or even recognize them, out of their makeup? The Japanese geishas were the same way. I think it’s because once you wear make up, you have to keep wearing it. I remember makeup just made my skin worst. Even if you remove all your makeup afterwards, your skin was still exposed to the chemicals in makeup, so when it’s removed the skin will look dull and damaged. Also, if you wear makeup almost everyday it’s hard to remove everything, there will be residue even with the best makeup remover or cleansers. Further foundation clogs your pores and again it’s impossible to remove 100% of make up some will get trapped eventually in the pores. Sorry I don’t mean to be negative. But I still wear makeup to this day, just not foundation only on special occasions. Yes some people are blessed to look good without makeup

A lot of guys say, or even think, they prefer when girls wear no makeup, but it's not really true. What they really want is a natural look, and women who use makeup sparingly look best.

The whole "women shouldn't wear any makeup" thing is just men's reaction to the crazy fakeness trend among women today. So many women are wearing heavy makeup, huge false lashes, long fake nails, sculpted or even tattooed eyebrows, balooned lips, fake boobs, even fake butts. It's gross and very unattractive.

The best makeup is makeup that is not obvious. Just try to look as natural as possible while still looking your best and you'll be fine.

Basically, they consider you a flashy object with makeup on and therefore interesting. That means they will usually have zero interest in you as a person and are just interested in their shallow viewpoint.

Nope. It's mostly your perception about yourself. The difference between wearing or not wearing makeup is that you reveal desire to display yourself when you wear it and this attracts boys. Of course there are some special cases like one of my friends who look without eye shadow, mascara and ton of foundation like a 40yo. lady but this type, when a face is undergoing a total metamorphosis with makeup is rare.

Take Oprah Winfrey for example. She looks attractive when she has make up on. But without it, she looks fugly! She's got those big ole eyebrows going on which really makes her look bad.

first of all, men don't even know what natural actually is or looks like. they think foundation, mascara, lipstick is natural lol so when you wear absolutely zero makeup they probably think you're sick or tired. i actually had a guy tell me i look sick and asked if i was tired because i didn't bother with makeup that day. it was insanely rude and i felt completely fine until he had to say that unnecessary comment. so i guess i think zero makeup makes us look unapproachable.

Blush and eyeliner does kind of stick out, so I don't think that means being ugly under makeup, just it adds features that could go with one's look and outfit that day. Sometimes I put on simple foundation for some outing during the day and notice some uptick. I'm like I don't really look that much different, maybe it's because it feels like you got off a set.
