Should I leave him over my best friend?

These few months he made me feeling neglected, and he said it was because he was emotionally drained and tired. I couldn't tell him more after he said all that.. i felt like shit.

somehow , my best friend keep making a move. Until one day I agreed to do naughty stuff with him. I felt happier even before we did the deed.

At this point, I didn't feel anything towards my boyfriend. I've asked him if he wanted to break up, but he didn't want it. I got a feeling he might be bored of me, but why he didn't want to leave me? So many girls flirted with him.. he has lot of options. Have you ever done this to your girlfriend? And why?

Dang, that's a tough situation. A couple things come to mind:

- Your boyfriend really dropped the ball by ignoring you and making you feel like crap. No one deserves to be treated that way in a relationship.

- At the same time, hooking up with your best friend probably wasn't the best way to deal with things either. That's gonna seriously mess things up either way now.

- As for your boyfriend not wanting to break up - some guys just don't want to be the "bad guy" who ends it. Or maybe he's relying on you for something like company/sex and doesn't want to lose that even if he's not fully into it anymore.

- I've never done that to a girl, but I could see getting bored in a relationship if the spark dies out. But a real man would end it honestly before messing around behind their back.

Honestly, at this point it might be best for your own happiness and sanity if you end things with the boyfriend. You deserve to be with someone who actually wants to be with you and puts in effort. Figure your feelings out with the friend too before rushing into anything else serious. Just my two cents, hope it helps clear your mind!

Unless I’m reading this wrong doesn’t sound like he’s doing anything wrong. I think you’re making it worse by pushing all this stuff, letting whatever feelings get into your head. Eventually he will leave you if you keep it up. Just cause other women flirt w him does t mean he wants them. I don’t get why you’re putting that on him for how you felt when all he said was he was emotionally drained and tired. There’s not enough context here. Did he say he was emotionally drained and tired of you?

Ok why does he have to make you feel better? He’s the one the was emotionally drained and tired. Why couldn’t you make him feel better? You took it personally. He never said it was in reference to you. Unless he came out and mentioned you specifically, like I’m tired of you, you’re emotionally draining, but he didn’t.

Boyfriend shmoyfriend. He's neglecting you. You thoughtfully asked him what was up. His reply was unapologetic and lame. Emotionally drained and tired my ass.

You have a best friend who may be a better match.

So, I say leave your boyfriend and go with the new boyfriend. You're not married or obligated to stay with a boyfriend. It's perfectly fine to move on from an unsatisfying relationship. You're boyfriend should have tried harder to show how much you meant to him instead of being apathetic.
