This guy and I have met close to ten years ago. We dated, broke up, became friends, went our separate ways, and each time we got back together it was him who made the first move.
Years ago I found out that he won't marry me, even if he wanted to, because of his family. They want him to marry someone from the same culture. On top of that, I can't have children due to illness I barely survived years ago. He wants to have kids.
Right now he's dating someone and looks like he's serious about her. They are making plans to live together.
Yet he still tells me he loves me. He said we will always be connected and he can't exist without having me in his life.
Why is he doing this? I find it very difficult to move on even if I wanted to. I compare every guy I meet to him and end up being single.
Why is telling me he loves me if we have no future?
