One of my coworkers is currently at home because he's sick. We messaged for a little bit today (we don't talk THAT often) and he mentioned he's almost out of food but has no strength to go out and buy something. I said If he didn't live so far away I would go and buy groceries for him to which he replied that I'm very sweet with some smiley faces.
For me it was very natural to ask because I feel like the guys really spoil me (I'm the only girl in the office - Cybersecurity, been working there for 6 months) so I didn't really think much of it but then I thought maybe I shouldn't have said that as it may come out as something more than just friendly offer lol.
I wonder how would you guys perceive this?
