Boyfriend ignored my voice messages?

I rarely tell my boyfriend about any issues at work. Today, myself and some colleagues were having some issues with a particular task. I wanted to tell my boyfriend to help get it off my chest, so I sent some voice notes and he replied.

I replied back several voice notes. He completely ignored the content and said ‘ok babe. See you tomorrow’.

I didn’t reply and feel hurt, especially as it’s not as if I’m always unloading problems. I don’t think he even bothered to listen to all of the voice notes ( which totalled around 3 minutes). Am I wrong to get upset about this?

Honestly he probably doesn’t care. But he won’t say that to you. Most men aren’t honest w women because their feelings get hurt just like yours did. Men go through a lot in life. I mean a lot. So when someone comes crying to us about simple things it’s like really. Women tend to think we have it easier in life, maybe because we don’t say much about how our day went. Because most men know it’s a burden to put on others so we don’t do that. I’m not saying he doesn’t care about you, but men compared to women are on a different level of difficulties we go through in life. Example, I know a lot of men, including myself who work laborious jobs, physically demanding. Women tend to work office jobs, desk jobs w AC. So when they come at you w I had a hard day at work you think rougher than being out on the summer heat, physically destroying your body. If you want to complain or get something off your chest I suggest telling your girlfriends. I don’t mean things sexually either in your relationships, but things like at work. Men aren’t women. We don’t sit there to just listen. We listen then we come up w solutions which isn’t what women always want. So if you’re not looking for him to help solve a problem talk to your girlfriends.

sometimes, someone venting to you just ends up making you feel overwhelmed. he was probably feeling like that. did you ask if you could vent to him? my partner and i usually ask before we start spilling out a bunch of feelings that the other person wasn't prepared for.

otherwise, you do need to tell him how you felt about him cutting you short and then work from there together.
