Is he maybe interested or I am making a scenario?

Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well.

So I'm kinda struggling since I spoke with this guy. He is someone I am interested in. I knew him from a certain group as he was the one who created it, then he followed me on my personal account when he replied to one of my texts. At that time what I found really attractive about him was his maturity and his ideas about certain topics. Same goes now. It was like 4 years ago.

We never had getting to know each other type of conversations. He would reply to my stoires, me as well but that's all. We slowly lost connection ( while still following each other. We would simply not talk, don't know why ). Like a year after that he randomly liked one of my stories and replied to it, but we lost the connection again.

A week ago, I said fuck it and replied to his story. For the very first time we were really talking, asking questions about each other. At some point in the conversation, he was talking about his job and how the working hours were too much. And randomly he goes ''but I don't care, I don't have to worry, it's not as if I'm in a relationship, married or have kids.'' He then was asking questions about my family, job and education. Though what surprised me the most is that he remembered a certain detail about me that not anyone else remembers. So I was pretty touched, but he probably didn't even realize it.

After that day we haven't spoken with each other but I posted a picture of myself so see if he would react and he did lol.

I lost interest in him when we stopped talking, but I realize that I might be interested in him again. I don't want to be a dululu lmaooo but judging from our conversation I was wandering if he was interested in me as well. Honestly I would like to contact him again, but I don't want to be desperate. And the all liking stories doesn't mean anything to me if the person isn't straightforward. So I don't know if he's just shy or he simply isn't interested.

Ay yo girl, here's what I think. From the way it sounds, I think there's a good chance homie might be feelin you too! A few signs that make me think so:

- Remembering a detail about you from so long ago shows he was payin attention even back then

- Bringing up his single status could've been him hintin he's available

- He engaged with you when you slid in his DMs, which he didn't have to do

- Asking you questions about yourself means he tryna get to know you better

- Liking your pic is another good sign - guys don't usually like pics of girls they're not feelin

I'd say hit him up again casual, maybe ask about another one of his posts or somethin. See how the convo flows. If it's positive again, maybe you could suggest linkin up to catch up more in person.

Let things progress little by little feel each other out. But from where I'm standin, seems like he could be open to seein what's up with you two. You got nothin to lose by feelin it out, yo! Keep me posted on how it goes - I think you got a good shot sis!
