Why do I only attract desperate men?

The men I attract always act like I’m the best thing since sliced bread. To some of them I’m nice however I also encountered stalkers that would persist after me being very rude and mean to them. I dress nicely, other women tell me I look great and have a nice figure, so what exactly makes them try so hard with me? I’m not a pushover and my friends tell me I’m very quick witted and judgy. Is it my looks? Do I look so unattractive that they think they can pull me?
