Was texting a guy that I’ve started fucking and we’ve been really vibing and enjoy talking to each other. He’s given me his number now and we were texting and I was saying in a flirty way and by using an inside joke asking when he would see me next. Then he responded with how he’s gonna make me wait and said “can’t be doing the every second day thing like I usually do”. First what does he mean by this? I just said back ohhh why and he said “don’t want you becoming obsessed rn😂”

clearly I’ve come on too strong 😭 how can I either reverse this back onto him in a flirty way or at least respond to this without scaring him away and having him think I’m already whipped over him

maybe he just doesn't want you to count your chickens before they hatch as on to get to obsessed and it doesn't work out or maybe he just doesn't want a relashionship just friends with benifits ask him why or to sit and have a talk as why do you not want me to become obsessed it can be considered quit annoying if she/he gets to clingy in relashionships or not
