My crush's sister is being nice to me?

So, my crushes family, or at least his mom really likes me. He is in his lame, teenage boy stage right now so we haven't really been talking. But I went to go watch a game to see my friends playing and guys game was next, I went to throw away some stuff and my crushes mom yelled for me so I went and sat by his family for the game and eventually to watch his game afterwords. So I hadn't ever really met his sister, except she followed me on instagram a few months ago and liked ALL of my photos. (My crush doesn't even follow me!{he knows I like him and is being weird and annoying by ignoring}) Anyways, she was there and it was the first time I actually met her. We didn't talk much but I talked a lot to his mom and a little to the dad and I think I sounded quite pleasant and fun. But still.. I don't know and still questioning whether or not his sister knows that I like him... So, games over, I go home, and now we skip to yesterday, when I was hanging down town, I saw his sister, and she said hey to me (twice bc we ran into each other different times) but in a very happy and as if we were good friends kind of way and I just feel like faith is messing with me by doing this. Like of course, lets get the crushes family to like you while he is in his little boy can't grow up stage. Any ideas if this is just a coincidence or something is cooking up the love book? (fyi, we're in high school, so that should help with why boys are acting strange.)

omg, i’m extremely late and don’t know how things are now, but lemme tell you. i was in a pretty similar situation. me and this guy we’re basically best friends as children, and as we grew up and entered middle school, we kind of distanced as friends. the thing is, me and him would go back and forth with liking each other. you can probably imagine how this ends. i eventually moved on after freshman year of high school after everyone told me he would never make a move. funny thing is, his sister and i are bestfriends and she would always tell me he liked me and i wouldn’t always believe it because of his actions. i say all this to say, what you may think is perfect in the present time, we’ll likely give a different perspective over time. now, me and that guy are nothing alike like we use to be, we’re not close, and i’ve found a guy that i met my sophomore year of high school that i don’t have to really question or wonder about. and get this, his family liked me too before ever even meeting me. i’m a sophomore in college now, so time has definitely passed. i hope as time passes for you, things are made clear and you’re able to enjoy healthy relationships!! <3

He probably likes you and is being a shy teenage guy and his family knows that he likes you so that's why they are being nice to you.

That, AND I have known him and his mother for the past 6 years... But, yeah, thats what I am thinking.

I would, but my only thing with that is we have been ignoring each other. we literally have a class with each other and neither of us give eye contact or acknowledge our existence. It's just gotten really weird and awkward that I'm too freaked out to even say hi.

Well, we had one class together as kids, and from there on it was one of those friendships where we didn't talk but knew we were still friends. And then when we hit middle school, he started showing me some attention and i reciprocated which I think freaked him out and he completely started ignoring me. Except get this, I asked him to hang out and he was so excited and we had a lot of fun. But then it went back to ignoring. Now we're in high school and at registration we were more talkative, but now that its second semester and have a class together, we have barely spoken a word and I think we are just both embarrassed and at the same time there really is no time to talk bc we go straight to work in that class. I'm also really good friends with his friends, even his BEST friend who doesn't even know that my crush and I are no longer talking. So, I'm really not sure what to do right now. but minding my own business and just looking put together is what I have been working on, but not

giving me what im wanting, which is us to start talking again and at least be friends.

well I would suggest just trying to start conversations with him again because if he's really shy you may have to take the initiative on this one and at least kind of let him know that you are still interested to hope he takes it from there. Also I know how high school is with the friends hooking people up thing, so you could always talk to his friend who you are really good friends with.
