How can anyone accept being average?

Question

I mean average body, physique. That's just pathetic. Average nowadays is fat or skinnyfat and weak. 
How can one live without ever being aesthetic? I like being aesthetic, I get more attention form women of all ages (men too) in a week than any average guy will get in their whole lifetime. Why would anyone do that do themselves? It's not hard to become aesthetic, just takes time and being consistent.

It's easy for people to accept your view of average because life is complicated and difficult. How many people commute to work, then work 9-5, and commute back from a job they hate but pays decent, or a job they enjoy but pays poorly? You finally get dinner then you are too tired to do anything else but watch mindless TV before you pass out. Maybe you'll make love to your wife once in a blue moon. Depressing huh? Being overworked like this is unfortunately what the American dream has become for too many people.

Now I didn't even mention stresses people have, as well as relationship problems, other financial issues, etc. How can people find the time OR motivation to live healthy when they have all these pressures every moment of their lives? Technology has made our lives easier but it hasn't necessarily improved the quality of our lives. Generalizing.

At my young age I take great care of my body because I have the motivation to do so. But I also realize I have more time and less responsibilities at my disposal than I will in just 1 year from now. I am a thinker and a planner so I hope I'll structure my life to balance a healthy lifestyle with work in the future. However this just isn't a reality for many people, and that's why they accept being average.

Some people would prefer to put their energies into other things, sports, work, charity, hobbies..not everybody sets as much store by their appearance. We're also not all blessed in the looks department so although you can be fit and healthy, you can't make yourself look like a supermodel if you're not unless you put loads of money and time into it...money and time not everybody has or wants to spend on appearance. For women to keep up their appearance is a lot harder aswell, application of make up (not cheap either) plus expensive hair styling, clothes, keeping fit consistently added to the laws of gravity whereby everything ends up going south - all things that the average everyday woman at least won't have time for. We all just prioritize differently but it's certainly not pathetic for someone not to choose to spend so much time on their looks as much as it's not pathetic if someone wants to :)

Besides it's not quantity, it's quality. If you find one person who likes you for you that's what matters :)

I'm average. It's whatever. I can't change it. I hit the gym daily. But I'm going to look the way I look no matter what.

I'll always be skinny fat because my body type apparently only likes to lose weight, not really gain muscle. :P You can imagine how impressed I was when I figured that one out.

Like, I worked out for 9 months and this is as far as I got. I did cardio, lifted weights, swam, and did core work for those months. Thin (107 lbs at that point) but see any muscle? Yeah, no, me either :p

People have different priorities in life and generally for most people, looks dont come first. Also what is average to you may not be average to someone else; beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Time and effort to be consistent with your appearance isn't what everyone has. Some people have to work their butts off just to make a living. Some people are focused on getting by and taking care of their family. Accepting yourself for how you are is a good thing. I am all for change too, but that person has to want to change. If they are comfortable and happy with themselves and dont feel the need to change, than that's perfectly fine for them. I think you have a narrow outlook on life, so maybe you should focus on being an above average person personality wise instead. Also going anonymous on this question doesn't help prove anything for you, just goes to show that you aren't confident enough in yourself to show who you really are.

I love that you asked this anonymously so we don't really know if you're above average or not.
I actually believe that at least 60% of people are average with maybe 30% at least below and 10% above.
I just muddle through the day the best I can being average.

Each girl has different things she likes in guys. I've heard girls say skinny is really attractive and others say they like fluffy guys.
How can you deal with being average? You realize beauty is only skin deep, you love yourself for who you are, and you become confident in that. People are drawn to it.
Attractiveness gets you the attention from someone for a moment, personality keeps it.

Because average is good when it comes to most stuff. Especially when you get a C+ in accounting 3 . Then you really feel like being king of the world. Also you are a dick some fat people have thyroid problems

Its not that hard. You get used to it over time. Not everybody has type A personalities and wants to be the best at everything in life or see's everything as a competition.

Some people are perfectly content with being average or being happy with who they are.
Plus there will ALWAYS be somebody better than you or I who excels at everything better.

Nice to hear. People learn to accept IT, & LIVE with it. Looks aren't everything. What is skinnyfat? Never heard of it. And I personally don't go completely on looks, have to have good attitude & personality. You being beyond average won't last forever.
