Always go with a protein in the morning. It will help you feel satisfied and help boost your metabolism. This can look like: eggs (any way you like them) protein shake (like whey or vegan protein shake like hemp or pea protein) Low-fat yogurt with fruit, on once in a while high-protein cereal (make sure it doesn't have sugar and watching serving size). If you make smoothies/shakes then add some chia/hemp/flax (any of those) those seeds are full of fiber and omega 3. Omega 3 helps you lose weight and is extremely good for your heart and skin. I would try to avoid carbs in the morning but if you have to have toast with eggs go with Ezekiel bread. It's sprouted and is high protein and fiber.
As for drinks, stay away from coffee. It confuses the the metabolism, stick with green tea or a oolong tea (no sugar) for weightloss. Coconut water is good because it balances electrolites which help in weight loss, and of course you can never go wrong with water!
I hope this helps! Mornings are like the worst thing ever when it comes to healthy diet food.

Throw out unhealthy options (anything from the bakery or anything really sugary).
As soon as you first wake up, drink honey and cinnamon powder boiled in one cup water.
Follow with one more full glass of water with lemon or a cup of green tea.
(** Stay away from so-called diet drinks, smoothies and juices. Most are filled with sugar or artificial sugars. It's better to just eat the fresh fruit itself.)
Eat water-rich foods like watermelon, berries or citrus fruit, which will give your body energy and help flush out toxins. (Water-rich foods and drinking water and green tea regularly can help de-bloat your body naturally, helping you lose initial water weight right away).
Fiber One cereal (regular type) or a small bowl of (plain) shredded wheat sprinkled with cinnamon can also help you feel full and energized. (always look for 'whole grain' on packages, NOT multi-grain)
Snack on healthy foods like walnuts, almonds, spinach, kale and veggies throughout the day.
(At dinner, your plate should always be half veggies).
Cut back on soda and booze.
And if you incorporate exercise (an hour to half an hour per day), combined with healthier eating, you will see results much quicker.
