I've overcome mine, but mainly due to circumstance. I used to do a lot of climbing back in the day and enter the competitions. Weight was an issue so it was all about getting down to just skin, as little muscle as possible whilst still maintaining performance, and bone. I'd do shit loads of training and eat as little as possible. Food was just fuel, I'd control portions and there would be no empty calories, everything on the plate was there for nutritional purposes. Sometimes I'd train hard and eat nothing, I'd fast intermittently, eat literally nothing for a couple of days before the comp. Then on the day re-energize with slow release carb gels, the furthest I got was semis. One day my blood sugar bottomed out and I had uncontrollable shaking hands, palpitations and sudden falling feelings. I only stopped all that shit because I got injured. I'm pretty flabby these days, but I don't really care, I enjoy food. lol

I haven't had enough bacon today. I feel dysfunctional. Do you offer bacon counseling?
