Hi:) Everyone's fitness goals and body types are different. Personally, I keep myself motivated by my desire to wear what I want and look good wearing it! I also work in a field that constantly brings me into contact with people, cameras and photographers so of course, that helps! LOL I have also seen women purchase outfits in their "ideal" size to be used as daily fitness motivation. The thing is that your desire to be smaller must outweigh your passion for foods that cause the weight gain. Snacks, sweets and sodas may tastes good when you're digesting them but think about how you look and feel after... are the snacks and sweets worth it then? most people would probably say that they are not, as the first day of any new year usually prompts everyone to join the gym LOL Remember, we eat to live, not live to eat. Foods are simply meant to be used as fuel for the body to continue to operate at its optimum. And when we put on extra pounds of fat, we slow the body down and open ourselves up to potential health issues. Another thing that you may wish to explore is connecting with other young ladies that are health conscious. You may end up with a work out buddy or at least someone that can motivate you to keep pushing when you feel like giving up. You can also peruse the internet for health conscious cooking classes or recipes. The trick is to break bad habits that your body has grown accustomed to. It may feel EASIER to just sit on the couch with potato chips but it won't make you feel BETTER xoxo

Lemme give you a quick motivational speech ;)
Shut your eyes. Picture yourself in 10 years. How do you see yourself? Who do you see yourself with? Where are you? I'm sure you aren't picturing yourself as an obese person using food to fill emptiness in your life. Because as humans, we like to think that we'll be in an ideal place in the future. Unfortunately, we rarely end up in the exact position we see ourselves in. If you continue the way you are going, you are never going to end up in a place where you love your body, and feel confident to take on the world. Start going slowly, begin by substituting a few things in your current diet for healthier options, while still keeping in some of your favourite foods. Learn to love water. Water is your new BFF. Don't feel the need to workout, just try and stay active throughout the day. Don't sit around so much. And if you ever feel like quitting, ask yourself why you started in the first place. YOU can shape yourself. Food doesn't have to anymore. <3
Change your eating habits, daily exercise , you don't even have to go to the gym, just walk an hour a day, half an hour would be enough.
When you are fit, even when you are still fat but you were really fat before, you will have enough with it to not want to go back to that situation, feeling tired, you can't do many things, less energy, you don't look good, etc.
Being fit just changes your life, specially if you were obese.
However, I always see this people "trying" to lose weight to fit in a dress for a wedding, to burn the fat gained in the holidays, people doing stupid "magic" diets, and complaining why they can't successfully lose weight, and the simply answer to it is that they aren't actually trying, they just wanted a shortcut to it, but good things require a lot of work 99% of the time.
My motivation is just not being fat. I'm serious. I was fat in the past and I know how bad it is.

I post pictures of my ideal body as my screensaver for everything, and I'll paste those pictures also in my notebook (like models and celebrities in bikinis, Miranda Kerr has the best body!) When I see those photos, I go "If I wanna look like that, I hafta skip the cupcake!" And then I do skip the cupcake haha and make healthier choices. Or a picture of a nice butt encourages me to do squats. But I also have some quotes like "What you eat in private, you wear in public" and "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" Plus, looking up yummy healthy recipes is an encouragement to me because they taste so good I don't feel deprived. Happily at 115 right now <3
Can you find a physical activity that you enjoy? Because for me, working out and seeing semi results inspired me to eat better to see much better results. Also, don't forget that although you need both to lose weight, diet is more important. You don't have to starve yourself or eat less either- just eat better. I remember some yummy chocolates at GNC that work as a appetite suppressant. Natural remedies to take in the morning that decrease appetite include green tea and apple cider vinegar.
The first step is not thinking it's that hard.
Try something new like very clean eating and stick it out for a week at least. When you feel the difference in how you feel it may motivate you to keep going.
You can also do ONE cheat day a week and look reward yourself for good behaviour that day.
To motivate you- can you plan a vacation in 30 days? Or maybe a photoshoot in 30 days? An event? So you can give yourself 30 days to reach your goals.I lost 65lbs by saying "this is not my life" over and over in your mind. Then make a major change like, stop watching tv, no eating out and/or no juice and soda do light exercise like walking. You'll start dropping lbs and see how differently you're treated. Then keep the memory in the back of your mind and fear ever being over weight again. That's motivation. People are much kinder, all people. Sales people, cops, the opposite sex, etc. it's as if by dropping lbs people care what you have to say. I was shocked by this. Losing weight was the best thing I ever did. You can do it if I did.
I've been extremely over weight scence I was 5yrs old I'm working on it now mostly for health reasons you can only do it for u its important to build your will power but switching up diets and exercise routine can help a lot especially if you can find one you enjoy doing like dancing I love music pop in sweating to the oldies or walk away the lbs as long as u keep moving and u enjoy it it doesn't matter what you do
I don't have motivation to lose weight, I have motivation to be healthy. Weightloss isn't what's important. If you take care of yourself you'll wind up being a healthy weight. And even that isn't really motivation it's just the common sense that if I don't take care of my body I'm only fucking over myself and risking serious medical problems and an over all far more crappy life. Simple as that
My health and wanting to feel good for myself. Between quitting smoking and health issues from 2007 until present I've gained 70 lbs and I don't feel like me. I grew up being that skinny girl and only gained weight after having children and from my last child until 2007, I weighed 128 lbs. I have been lazy and accepting this as my fate, but I know I can do it. Changing my eating habits is much harder than when I quit smoking especially I think of what I have to give up, but I know what I'll gain in exchange.
Think about how much better you will feel when you are in great shape and look attractive. Cut out all added sugars and trans fats from your diet no matter what, eat whole and real unprocessed foods, drink a full glass of water with every meal and get at least 30 minutes of constant exercise 3 days a week like running, pushups and situps.
I agree with matheus_mb! I was a little chubbier in the past and I found that eating a healthier diet and exercising made me feel 100Xs better and gave me more confidence. Don't push it to the extreme where you start obsessing over your weight, but you will be motivated daily once you start feeling the changes.
- energy
- power/strength
- impressing/surprising yourself with what you're capable of over time
- enjoy more activities
- sex is better
- SHOPPING
- confidence
- enjoying food instead of depending on it
- feeling sexier because of all of the above
- i'm trying to skydive at 100 and i need my heart to be strong enough lolTo simply realize: If you can't pick your ass up, go to the gym consistently, put in the work and research necessary to reach your goals, and not quit on yourself when it hurts or feels uncomfortable...
... if you can't do that, you're not strong enough to do much more than just "exist". And from that, YOU can figure out how to live with that sort of usefulness ;)A few things, being able to fit nicely into my favorite clothes is a big one.
Also, feeling healthy in general. I always feel a lot better when I include regular exercise in my daily life.
Other motivations, looking good for my boyfriend, and liking the way I look in the mirror. It's hard to feel confident sometimes when you don't really like what you see, and I'd rather not let something like that get me down.you will be nicer and more beautiful, is that enough? :)
if thats u in your profile pic and u think you need to lose weight i think you have anorexia
sorry im not trying to judge you but you look like you have the body every girl wants
so just do what youve been doing and have funTo fit into my old jeans and eventually my military ball gown. I'm halfway there right now. I just got back into a size 10 in my jeans. You won't believe how big having a baby makes your hips and ass get -_-!!!
Think of a pretty girl with a happy lifestyle and then tell yourself you want to look like her. That's what I do.
If that's you in the profile picture than I think you look fine. But in general I tend to find fitness motivation by watching YouTube fitness channels. They include Scooby1961 (oldest fitness channel), PhysiquesofGreatness, TwinMuscleWorkout, Kali Muscle, OmarIsuf, MaxxChewning, ElliotHulse, Athlean, etc.
If you don't lose weight, you'll get heart disease, and diabetes!
Around 40% of the population will die from diabetes and heart disease (as well as high blood pressure, strokes, etc.).
So if you don't want people around you to suffer because you just didn't feel like running, then start working out!
Also, when you're fit, you feel greatI fully believe in lifestyle. Whatever you do or believe in on your awaken time sure will shape your body. I'm thin and have activities I do everyday which don't match an overweighted body, if I had one. On the other I never forbid myself of doing whatever, but decide myself what would be better for me. It gets me more in control of life.
Good motivation to lose weight is to,
stand in front of a mirror (if its at home, do this naked) Hold UR belly fat and say to URself, is this how I want 2 look - I AM a great person, I WILL change.
Good luck - the next time U want a cookie/cake/biscuit BEFORE U eat it.
Repeat the process, saying to URself, is it really worth the 30 seconds of joyMake a simple chart every week with some daily exercises and nutrional food and check off each day if you completed it. At the end of the week you can see if you finished it or if you need to work more on being focused on it. Whatever you do DON'T tell yourself to want to lose weight so you can look good in a bikini. Lose weight to help you physically AND mentally!
