Anybody ever feel lonely like this?

Ok its like this sometimes I feel so lonely that I can't even explain it. I have friends but its like I don't have them. I had a girlfriend but that was a while ago I'm content with being without one. But more than often I feel alone. No friends , very sad and I just lay up in the dark with my music thinking. I go out get a few laughs in with people , drink and smoke you know whatever but its not only until I'm alone that I feel like loneliness and sad. It's like I'll be depressed for the night and the next day it never happened but yeah anybody on here feel this way and or is going through this. Maybe even have been through this?

I am similar to you and very different also. I am 27, and due to my raising and sheer lack of social skills and interaction, I have never had a girlfriend in person. I had one once over a website, but that doesn't really even count, right? So I am like you in that at times I feel extremely lonely and alone. I see my family and friends, although not all of them, having seemingly "normal" lives, pursuing a great career or careers and falling in love, getting married, and having children. I feel like I am the leftovers of my family, and am falling behind. I am different than you in that I am probably older than you and you still have more time left, and because 90% of the time I feel like you do or worse; so don't feel alone or so bad about it. The answer to your question is yes... and even more so.

Finally, found someone who feel what I feel,
Yeah my life is same. I have a lot of friends too but they're here and yet I am alone and feel like no one's there for me.
Only my music that keeps me company.

Yeah I do but I don't let it get me down. If we're lonely, we're the only ones who can do something about it. Align your actions with that of your true intentions. You'll see change eventually. This could be a time of getting to know yourself. On the flip side there is someone wome where with so much to do and a madness of family around them (kids screaming) who'd kill to have just 5 minutes by themselves. So even loneliness might be something to be thankful for (at some time or another). It won't last, try and enjoy it while you can. Or message me. I been getting really bored lately too and kinda funny that this was the first (unanswered) question I saw.

I've done that already. I experienced loss and didn't know what I want career I wanted to pursue in college and I found my balance now and my career to pursue. I don't mind screaming and noise I come from a family of six anyway.

It's human nature, unfortunately. If we didn't get hungry, we don't eat. If we don't meet people, we get lonely. There's nothing you can do except mentally toughen yourself.
