Why did my doctor do this without me knowing?

I took a nasty spill five weeks ago. I went back to see her since im having temporary paraylsis in my left leg and hand. She sent me to get x rays. She told me she was going to order a few of my lower back. I get into the radiology office and find she ordered a full spinal view and partial pelvis. (15 xrays).
I understand I needed a full spinal because of the temp. Paralysis but 3 of my pelvis??? Why didn't she tell me she ordered a full spinal and a partial pelvic? I've got insurance but damn.

She knew you needed them. Doctors generally give you a general idea of what they are looking for, but they do not get into the details of every slice of x-ray. And remember the other possibilities we talked about regarding your other problems. Be glad she is casting a wide net. Hope you mentioned the things I told you about to her so she can look for them or refer them to an expert. Lets get you completely fixed up.
I have doctors order things all the time that I do not know why, but then I talk to them and dpn't worry in the meantime. She is watching out for you.
