my dad is obsessed over my weight i'm 5"5 & weigh 105 lbs i feel happy with my weight and waistline but he is DISGUSTED by it HELP HOW DO I TELL HIM TO STOP. the worst thing is, he believes im grossly OVERWEIGHT. i lied about my weight to him, when he made me weigh myself on the scale. he found out and started calling me a blimp, liar, and pig. i know i shouldn't have lied about it, but i didn't want to have to cut down on my snacks (i love food) and i was already exercising every weekend. i love my dad, but now he won't even look at me. " I have no use for fat and ugly daughters that lie" I have started running 2-3 miles everyday for thepast month, but my weight STILL hasn't gone down!!! im just so tired of being called fat by him, i just want to drop enough enough to make him happy? what do i do?

You have a BMI of 21 which is at the lower limit (20 is minimum healthy), so you are NOT overweight. And exercising gives you muscle, that weighs more than fat. If I was you, I would combine running with gym. It will not make you loose weight, but will give you a leaner and more toned appearance. That should satisfy him. A BMI must be between 20 and 25 to be in a healthy region, but it is no prophecy. Your muscle/fat ratio tells you more.

My mums abit like that, she saying you putting on weight. It doesn't mind me my what my weight is. If I cared i would work out. I can still fit into my jeans and all clothes at shops in town. Can be a 14 or 12 or 16 depending on the size of the clothes.

Take him to the doctor with you, he'll see. You're fine, maybe even underweight. I'm between 97-105 pounds and am at 4'10", and I'm at a perfectly good weight. People say I'm underweight but the doctor says that I'm fine.
