First things first - becoming vegetarian won't necessarily help you lose weight, only going vegan can guarantee weight loss. It's your choice, nothing wrong with wanting to eat healthier. But becoming vegetariam does not equal being healthy. You can eat healthy both being vegetarian and being an omnivore. I, for once, am vegetarian but I don't consider myself healthy, I eat loads of junk food and shit. Consider all the pros and cons and make the choice yourself. But don't worry that you won't get enough nutrition and things like that, it's a huge myth that person needs meat in their life, there are millions of substitutes. Being vegetarian is super duper easy. And people are always gonna judge, make your own choice, what's best for YOU!

What kind of vegetarian? Maybe you should try being a pescetarian (no meat, except fish/seafood.) I did that for almost 4 years and was so thin lol. Not like unhealthy toxic skinny, just lean. Just make sure you get your protein and iron!
it's not odd at all. plenty of people do it because they believe the way animals are killed is unethical, and that makes sense. plus, it saves an abundance of natural resources. for every ounce of sirloin steak, it takes like 128 gallons of water or some crazy figure like that. it's healthy, and if you can do it, all the power to you!
It's not a bad idea. Plus that whole protein thing isn't true. I don't know why humans think meat and only meat can give you protein. I've been alive for many years without it and I feel just fine. Actually I'm putting on muscle so I guess I must be getting some

Do whatever you want to. I think it's great that you want to eat healthier and treat your body right! Honestly, I've been thinking about becoming vegetarian, or at least pescetarian, but I haven't really told anyone. Plus it would be difficult for me living still at home, since no one in my family would follow me.
Nope. But you need protein in your diet. Beans are really good for that. I could honestly live off of pinto beans and white rice.

It is not a healthy choice. You need more protein than veggies will give you. Calcium too.

You have to work pretty hard to get the nutrition you need, vegetarians aren't all that healthy. But whatever floats your boat.
