As far as you go, seeing is Not always believing, for when you quite possibly have the start of an Eating Disorder, the Mirror has two faces And... This is a problem pattern.
Please, begin a new beguine of eating normally again. You may be a bit too 'Skinny' and often, when someone Starts with This, they can become Obsessed with their weight which doesn't always hold its weight in gold.

Anything less than 1500 calories for an adult is technically labelled as famine or starvation in the medical community. You're currently eating enough for a 2-4 year old child and that's extremely unhealthy. If you really want to lose weight, there are healthy ways to do so, you don't have to starve your brain of its well-deserved nutrients.

A healthy diet, with a moderate to low physical activity level, is 15 times your body weight. So, a 100lb person (if you're really short) is 1500 calories per day, at an ABSOLUTE minimum. It should be more if you're physically active. 800-1200 cals is definitely not safe for a grown woman. If you are trying to lose weight, it's not a healthy way of doing it under any circumstances. I would advise consulting a personal trainer or a doctor about your fitness goals, including both exercise and diet.
lol, I can gain 5 lbs of pure fat on my belly and my mom will think I look healthy. they are from a different era, where curves were valued. And they don't understand things like bodybuilding/ fitness bodies.
Another perspective could be , they are our mothers, they care for us too much. You know how parents are always saying, eat this eat that, do you want more, even when you just told them you are full.

Collar bones don't mean anything. Fat is distributed differently on each person's body. I can see my collar bones, hip bones, even rib cage bones and I'm not skinny at all - I'm pretty curvy and my body fat is 18% or so.
You should do an IMC test to see if you're healthy.
Anyways, 800 calories is way too low. If you really want to lose some weight, go to a nutritionist or if you can, I can help you with a healthy diet plan.800 calories a day is starvation. If your collar bones are visible and such you're not fat and you're convincing yourself you have issues at this point. Up your calories and throwing toning exercises in or be prepared to be another one of those aspiring starving models.
You look at yourself everyday so you might adapt to looking at yourself and not realize when you are too skinny or too fat. Take your mother's advice and eat a little more. She is just trying to help.
For a girl, depending on your height around 1200 a day isn't too bad, but anything less than that isn't healthy.
Other people see your body much more clearly than you do - especially if you have an eating disorder. Please take her advice to heart, I'm sure she's only looking out for your best interests and wants you to be happy and healthy.
She's a mother its her job to worry about u. If your happy with it and still healthy then tell her your fine and what makes u happy

That's far too few calories a day. You're going to end up in the hospital.
