Isn't anyone else freaked out by the fact that unless science indefinitely extends human life... you will die some day?

I have heard that this may happen within my lifetime, but it may not too... and even if lifespans are extended in that time the thought of dying is really really scary. :( I don't want to die, and it's so scary that so many different generations of humans have all lived and died... so many important people in history too.

there's no point being scared of death, since it's not something that you can avoid. Regardless of that it is however natural to fear death- since it's a concept the human brain cannot comprehend.

I'm kind of looking forward to death though, it'll be something new- even if I can't actually experience it.

It's all good, all natural... Dying is completely safe and nothing to be scared of :-) Enjoy the time you have, but living in fear of death is silly

Of course I don't want to die anytime soon, but I also don't want to live forever. Dying at an old age sounds peaceful. I do wish our bodies and minds stayed younger for longer but death is a natural part of anything. Even our sun will die eventually.

Not really, it is an unsettling thought but it's just a fact of life that we'll all have to face one day. I'm more concerned about how/when I'll die to be honest, not necessarily death itself.

I mean the sun will devour the earth one day so if that is possible then that will still happen or we would die of starvation or other problems because of overpopulation

Quite the opposite, I've never been able to understand why anybody would be. It's like not being able to enjoy a meal because you know it's going to be shit in 24 hours.
