For gynecologist i prefer male cause i feel more comfortable although it can be embarrassing sometimes.

Doesn't matter - they're a doctor... chances are they've seen some nastier stuff than what you've got going on.

I prefer female over male doctors for gp and specialists. They tend to be younger and more on top of new developments in medicine, they come across as more sincere, and they typically have better bedside manner.

From experience, I like female doctors a lot better.

They are nice and understanding, in front of a guy I feel like I need to man up.

So Female doctor, unless it is a "male" problem.
