Do you think my foot is broken?

Last night I fell down the stairs on my way going downstairs to get some food and my right foot caved in and went underneath me sideways. I remember hearing a popping noise the second it did that. My mom was drinking so she couldn't take me to the ER. I couldn't even put ice on it at the time because anything touching it hurt. Hours later it STILL hurts. The bottom middle of it hurts constantly. It hurts to move my foot up, down, left or right and forget putting pressure on it. When I put pressure on it the right side towards the middle of it really hurts and it radiates towards the left side. My ankle doesn't hurt at all, and it really hurts to bend all toes. My foot is not swollen at all though. It feels hot and like fire. What could be wrong with it?

Its 4:36AM where I live right now and I can't sleep it hurts so bad and my mom is passed out. I dont know what to do right now

I did something similar when I was buying a book. Couldn't resist looking at it while I went down the steps to the ground floor. Got there a bit quicker than expected!

At the time, the worst bit was the elderly lady peering down at me saying, "Are you alright?" Me thinking, "No, I flippin' ain't!"

I ended up the following day having it x-rayed and two bones were cracked. It did hury like crazy when I put weight on it. Told to take painkillers and it would heal on its own, which it did eventually.

Suggest you get it checked out. As soon as possible.

Take some Tylenol and try to go back to bed and put your foot on a pillow. Go get it X-rayed sometime today

Possibly. There is a good possibility you fractured your foot or its sprained badly. Since its 4 in the morning where you live, I suggest taking pain killers, keep your foot elevated and tell your mom when she wakes up that your foot still hurts and you should get it checked out.

If it was a pop you probably tore a tendon or a ligament. If you broke it, there would be a snappish/crush sound and there would be discoloration from bone fragements stabbing the inside of your foot and causing internal bleeding. I suspect it's the first

Why do you ask that question here instead of going to a doctor or to first aid in the hospital?

If it's not swollen then it's probably crushed, not broken.

I think it is a sprain, can you weight bare? Best to go to the A & E and get it checked out

Do you see any purple or discoloration? If you do then it's probably fractured

I think you probably sprained it or fractured it.
