Honestly, as much as you probably wouldn't want to hear this, I lost 10 kg eating a high carb low fat vegan diet. With regular exercise (about 3-6 times a week for at leasr 20 minutes) I dont restrict, and eat about 1800-2500 calories a day, at 5'5, 19 years old.
Also try cutting out processed food, and eat more whole foods!
I've found that helps a lot in keeping the weight off :)
Move more and cut down on your sugar intake.
Thats what Im doing and I've lost a 1.5 kg in a week and a bit.
Not much but i usually struggle to put on snd take off weight, so its working.
Remember to be kind to yourself. At your age your metabolism is in flux so weight loss may be difficult. The best way to level out your metabolism is aerobic activity. A minimum of 30 mins a day. Also avoid lots of carbs they tend to turn into fat unless you are active. Another thing that helps is a regular sleeping schedule, and finally lots of water.
You have to become more active physically. Sign up to a gym, find another kind of activity you might enjoy more... whatever. Just be active active active.
Make your potions smaller, what helps is putting less food on a smaller plate. Drink water and cut soda. Run on the treadmill.
get 70-80% of your carbs from fruits and vegetables. No wheat. No dairy. Eat fish beans and rice. . Have a cheat day now and then. Work out more.
You could try one big meal a day... google it!
