My cat had disappeared for three weeks. we found her today and she is half the size. she is breathing somewhat heavy and keeps making a yelping noise. like the sound someone makes when they are grasping for breath out of water and it sometimes sounds like a small dog growling. I have to wait for my dad to be home from work until we take her to the vet. I am so worried and want her to be okay. what should I do until then or does anyone know what could be wrong?

Maybe you guys don't care, but my cat had backed-up bowels. Long story short, she was hit by a car three years ago, (before she was ours, and we found her in the street and rescued her) and since then her pelvic bones have been too dense to have anything

pass through. So that was the problem. My dad took her in for an operation and she was safe through the operation! We are now just waiting her recovery! Thank you so much for your help and support, though. :)
