What should I do with my ex boyfriend who calls me?

I admit I like the guy but he just said he still owes money and is working on that.

And the only time he wants to hang out is when we go skinny dipping or something of that nature.

I still care about him and hope he's OK but it's annoying me that he seems not to have resolved his issues.

if you still care about him as a friend, then remain friends.however it does sound strange that he only hangs out with you when he wants to go skinny dipping and things like that, it sounds like he finds you attractive and wants to be with you to hang out but you need to let him work out his issues. owing money can be a lot of stress.
