Is it OK to do that?
And I'm not looking for love yourself crap,so save yourself a lecture
I would advise against this and I will tell you why.
Although it is great that you are taking a multivitamin, there are still many other nutrients that you will be losing out on. You need a certain amount of fat, carbs and protein in your diet to sustain proper health and to lose weight (which is what I'm assuming you want). The problem with protein shakes are, that even when they contain the proper amount of fats in them, many are packed with sugar to give them some flavor, and then when you add it to milk, it adds more sugar into it.
Not only that, but you WILL be hungry, unless you have a small appetite. If you like to eat, don't use meal replacement shakes because chances are, you will eat more in addition to the shake, and then defeat the purpose of it completely.
If it is something you want to do, be sure you get meal replacement shakes and not just plain protein shakes because there is a difference. Meal replacement shakes are going to have more nutrients in them and keep you healthier, whereas a plain protein shake is more for muscle recovery and energy to boost workouts.
One thing to remember in your quest to lose weight and get healthy, is that any plan that has you eating out of what you would consider normal, ie meal replacement, starvation diets, fad diets, do not give you long lasting weight loss. Many of those are quick fixes. Yes they work, but when you lose weight so fast it is usually water seeing how our body is more than 70% water. Often times you will gain the weight right back once you go back to eating normal.
I suggest eating a balanced diet of fruits, veggies, lean meats and whole grain combined with cardio and light weight lifting if you want to see real, long lasting results.
this girl knows nothing
Nothings WRONG with that. You could try bringing something light, and healthy for lunch - instead of eating cafe food.
Not pure protein. Get something that says protein "blend" or something like that.
I don't replace my meals with it, but it seems to have stuff in it that I'm just not getting enough of from my diet.
When I get sick they are especially helpful if I don't feel like solids.. Because the one I take has many things beside protein, it provides me with nutrients as well.
Uhhm, you can get a couple different types of supplements.. There are vitamin ones too.. They are very good in my experience.
"dinner have a protein shake with, idk an apple and toast?"
That should be fine and much better than getting pizza or something un-healthy like that for dinner.. But you also need vegies.
You will have to eat something; have a light salad or something along with the shake. I do have to warn you about Accutane. I've seen many stories of law suits against it and its link to Crohn's disease and ulcers.
Haha yea,but I'm going onto my last month next week.I already have a stomach problem so if anything it's worsening it eh

There are shakes that were made to replace meals, and there are ones that were made just to be liquid protein supplements for use with/before/after workouts. Stick with the ones that were made for meal substitutions and you should be fine for 2 meals out of the day but no more. You do need SOME solid food.
Yea... but I would add salads and nutrient packed meals to that (aka salads lol)... YOUR BODY DOES NOT NEED CARBS. LIKE I SAID DOES NOT. But it does need fats... so use whole milk with your shakes and also use casein protein shakes... you can also mix fruit in there to esp with a vanilla flavored shake. and no protein shakes do not have sugar in them.
Carbs are your brain's choice of fuel, and it needs SOME to survive, otherwise you risk ketosis and ultimately ketoacidosis which is fatal. You are daft if you think that you do not need nutrient rich fruits in your diet. Unless you distrust the American Dietetic Association.
If you don't eat carbs, your body uses the fat on you and which you eat as fuel. Your body does not need carbs... but it needs fats.
And I said nutrient packed meals...
Right, your body uses fats if it cannot use carbs, the biproduct is ketones, and a buildup of ketones in the body has a negative effect.
Keep in mind that sugars, even natural sugars, are carbs- carbs is a collective term for complex carbs and simple carbs whether it be from fruits, starchy veggies, brown rice, all the way up to junk food.
Yes that's why your not supposed to eat sugar lol. And too much sugar creates a acid in your body whihch burns away muscle
No, it is not. A protein shake should only be a supplement, not a meal replacer. You should eat other meals along with a shake. Not add a piece of toast here and just have a shake.
Definitely not. Protein shakes are a supplement, not a substitute.
Yea it is.That's actually a pretty healthy diet for a girl but you have to remember not to snack and workout for at least 20 minutes a day
My doctor said don't do that.
You should ask your doctor.
