Play a sport you like... easiest way for poeple to exersise because others keep you accountable to show up and also have fun while doing it =D
Try cross fit instead of just running or weight training. It is a cross bewteen weight training and endurance. Extreamly good for losing fat and toneing. An example of a cross fit kind of workout would be (part 1) 4 sets of 20s situps 10 rest 20 squats 10s restwith no break bewteen sets. (part 2) 50 pushups ( chest must touch the ground on every pushup... modified pushups if normal ones are too hard ) 50 bumbell swings 40 pushpus 40 bumbell swings 30 pushups 30 bumbell swings 20 pushups 20 bumbell swings 10 pushups 10 bumbell swings. Make sure that you really warmpu the areas that you are going to be working out before starting. ( 15-20 min for warm up and stretching ) oh and makesure you have a good cool down and stretch so that you are not too sore the next day =D
As for eatting try eatting a fruit every time you want to drink pop and eatting baked fries chips and homemade stuff instead of fried or fast food... =) DO NOT keep junk food inside the house... so that the next time a craving hits you it needs to be strong enough to make you go all the way to the store to get some.
Drink lots of water before eatting and eat slowly. Sometimes your body can't tell the difference bewteen hunger and thirst. It takes 10-20 min for your body to realize that you are full so the slower you eat the less chance you'll over eat =)

I'm going to start by telling you that I've lost 45 lbs and dropped 8 pant sizes, so I know what I'm talking about, at least, for me. Here's how I did it:
Cut out all junk food. Period. It's empty calories, like beer. Yes, I still drink, but I know how many calories it takes and I have an active enough lifestyle to burn them off easily enough. I've also, for the most part, cut out a lot of meat. I worked at Friendly's as a cook, and couldn't take cooking a burger or anything like that because of the amount of grease I'd be emptying from the fryer. So yes, you'll end up eating much more veggies and fruits. Which is better for you anyway.
Also, don't stop eating breakfast, if you have, pick it up with your favorite cereal. Cereal = my sugar intake for the day, that's my "sweets" and "junk food", except it's not junk food.
Essentially, eat dense foods that fill you up more. Make sure that your bowels/urinary tract is working as it should be, because you lose a lot of weight passing food that way, other than sweating it off in a gym. Also, once you hit a plateau, which is almost innevitable, chances are you slowed your metabolism down...so eat more dense foods to fill you, plus it takes calories to digest that food anyway, and you'll speed it back up. You can eat MORE while losing weight.
I'm starting to think none of that made sense, but it's a start...google around and do your research, see a dietician if necessary. Good luck.
first off gatorade has more sugar than soda try a zero calorie flavored water. try running before you eat anything in the morning it will boost your metabolism for the rest of the day. Then eat a balance of foods but not as much as you normally do only eat till you aren't hungry. Keep lifting try to do it everyday. I did this and lost 40 pounds in one summer.
