Yes and no. Some people say their lazy and others say they don't care how they look. It's very common and odd balls are the people who dare to be different. Of course, you have your bad odd balls and your good ones. I'm not saying you're a bad one just so you know, but being an odd ball in general has it's advantages. Hell, I'm an odd ball myself, but not when it comes to clothes. A lot of people though DO tend to be afraid of being different solely because of the fact that they think their friends or people in general will not accept them. And this is true in a sense because there are so many shallow people like that. It's nice to see someone be different though.

Well come to california and you won't have that problem. Let me guess your in the south or the midwest.
I don't think they're afraid of fashion. It probably just never drew them in as an interest. I'd LOVE to get into fashion, but it's so hard for me to figure out how to dress in stuff.
In my case, I understand and I WANT to get into fashion very much, but I'm so inept at figuring all this fashion stuff out and I don't know where to begin! Any tips?
That could be one huge contributing factor. Usually you can tell the difference between caring too much what other people think, and just genuinely not liking something though.

Ya, that's what I think. I dress differently too, like edgy and w/e and people look at me different, but I like being different. In a school where everyone is the same, its refreshing to be different.
