I'm way to shy to up and talk to her and I'm a slightly(around 10 lbs) over weight>.<.
any advice?
Relax! and stop over-analyzing, lol. J/k, Seriously though, anything that has to do with getting to know her can't happen right now so don't worry about it, tonight.
And when you get back to class, look for opportunities to get to know her. When you walk into class, scan the class with your eyes and then smile at her.
Then, first thing on your agenda would be getting to know her name if you don't now it already. When the teacher calls attendance, that's a good time to introduce yourself. Opportunities like that, because in a class your time and attention is limited. Then you can always walk with her out of class, and get to know her better then. If you start talking to her right before class ends, just finish the conversation as you leave, and leave together - that type of thing. The same thing you've done with making friends in the past, just make more eye contact this time. And remember to smile at her. And when something funny happens in class where everyone laughs, look at her and smile and laugh with her. Overall, just be yourself, and although you probably don't like school, just say to yourself "I'm glad to be here,(this is just to relax you and your facial expression - it's what I do)" take a deep breathe, smile at her and say something, anything really. Even if it's "Hey, you're not good at math, are you? I want to know who to get notes off of, when I'm absent."
And the weight thing - that's a part of dieting and staying active. Myself, right, I stopped playing video games about four years ago, and concentrated on music more, the guitar and outside things like hiking and swimming, and getting to a gym, and getting some home gym equipment too, and my focus changed and it helped my whole perspective about dieting and staying active. And I started looking into different types of foods, too. Like how do people from other cultures stay in shape and that kind of thing. A lot of people eat a lot of rice, grains, beans, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and pasta. Not primarily meat. hope this helps! Best of luck!
Walk up to her and tell her, "You know what one of my favorite things are? New socks. What about you?" By the way I love new socks :) It sounds like you need a self confidence boost. If you are worried about your 10 extra pounds you should either take steps to lose them or love yourself for who you are. Personally I prefer a man that doesn't wear the same size pants I do. I say never date a man that can't at least drag you out of a burning building.
