OK so I've been texting this girl for a while and I'm pretty in to her and I just get in a better mood when we talk, I would like to ask her out, but here's the problem, I'm 6'5" tall and 300 lb weightlifter, she's a 5'4" skinny but cute girl. could this be a turnoff for her or is this just something she might not pay attention to? and my next question is how do I tell if she likes me or not? Were pretty good friends and I would trust her with almost anything and I'm worried about f***ing our friendship up.. and yes we have hung out before,

Don't be afraid, that could lower your self esteem while talking to her.

You can tell if she likes you/or is intrested if SHE is the one that's starting to text YOU. Like, if she wasn't intrested, why would she start contact? =D

If it's only you that is texting her, just give her a break, because she will probably think you're a bit annoying if you are texting her too often, but that's not very necessary to think of now!

(if she doesn't text you, it could also be cause she's shy, but most oftenly girls aren't very shy on the internet/their phones).

You can also see if she likes you if she is extremly humble and nice to you. If she is cocky or joking in a kinda "mean" way with you, she probably is just thinking in the friend zoom.

I think you should ask her to take a walk or take a cup of coffee/tea at a café or something like that- something casual that you feel is kinda friendly. After that you can more likely make sure what she really feels about you.

And please don't be afraid to ask her to do this!

one of my female friends is a legal midget (she doesn't have some sort of condition or anything; she's just really short) and her boyfriend's six foot one or two. So this clearly isn't a turn-off for some girls. In fact, most girls believe that the taller the guy the better.

And I don't know about telling if she likes you. I'm not particularly good at discerning those types of things over text :/

well I do talk to her in person, at school and we've gone to partys together and I've taken her out to lunch, I pretty much don't know how to read her because she's way different than any other girl I have talked to, she not so pushy with me, and also she thinks everything I say is funny, she spontanious and is always up to do whatever, even if it means bailing on her friends, its wierd, I'm just wondering if she likes me or if I'm stuck in the "friend zone"

I'm 5'0 and 105 lbs. and I've always been attracted to guys that have a foot at least 100 lbs. on me. I like guys with smaller frames too but I'm most attracted to guys that could probably snap me in two if they really wanted to. It all depends on the girl but I don't think she'd see it as a turn off, I like guys that are a lot bigger than me because they're fun to cuddle with an I feel safe around them. Usually when I go out to a bar or club I find the boucers to be some of the most attractive guys there. It's hard to tell if she likes you or not, especially if you're already friends. Maybe try hinting that you like someone that your friends with but you don't know how she'd respond just don't make it obvious that you're talking about her.

lol, I promise you won't crush her, I always tell guys whether they're my guy friends and we're just fooling around or it's someone I'm being intimate with that they can be a little rougher and I'll let them know when they're hurting me or about to break me

The size difference shouldn't be an issue. Personally, I'm 5'2 and my boyfriend is 6'2 and there's no issues or awkwardness. From what it sounds like she cares about you but its hard to tell if its a friendship way or romantic way. Take her out on a datee and see what happens. You have nothing to lose

it deffenetally will. (sorry about bad spelling) height doesn't really matter. my aunt is about 5 foot. and my uncle is 6 feet 10 inches. and there married and had 3 children and there perfecly happy. I am short too and my ex was a foot taller then me and he thought I was cute. so every time he hugged me he would say "your're short" but I took it as a compliment. you know, little off the best.
