Valentine's Day

Need some opinions about 'date' with girl?

so this girl and I both like each other we are both on the track team a couple months she signs very clear signs of liking me etc. eventually I kind of got the hint and now like her back a lot. so finally I 'make a move' I guess. on Valentine's day I got her a single rose bouqet. she was very happy to recieve it. then later in the week I invite her to come with me to this formal dinner banquet for some sports hall of fame where I was being recognized. whe was excited to go with me. anyways she was kinda sick when we went recently, like yesterday, we did talk a decent amount. I was expecting to go in for the first kiss at the end of the night but just gave her hug and a peck on the cheek. I'm guessing she did just not want to get me sick? we did not really to much if any at all can't really remember but I am just afraid she will think I am uniteresting I think she had enjoyed going with me but I just don't want to screw it up with her because I really car about her

So to update I was wondering what would be a good way of asking her to hang out etc. I was thinking about asking her to go to lunch with me ?
